Become a 20/20 Visionary!

Out Youth is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support and provide services to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth ages 12 to 19 in Austin and Central Texas. We offer peer support groups, counseling, educational programs, social activities and community outreach.

The Out Youth drop-in center is open to youth every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:30 to 8:30 pm.

Out Youth is celebrating its 20^th anniversary in 2010, and remains the only organization in Central Texas to provide programs and services specifically designed for LGBTQ youth and their allies. Thank you to our champions at all levels, national, state and local. Thank you to all our Out Youth sponsors and monthly donors for your continued support and investment in the lives, safety and promise of our LGBTQ youth and allies. In the coming months, you will begin to see some gradual changes to our website and e-blasts, including new opportunities and options for giving. You will see an increase in sponsor and donor acknowledgements. You will also be hearing directly from youth, alumni and community allies on various topics related to Out Youth's programming, outreach, community partnerships, and youth experiences. And, of course, we will continue to let you know about special events, volunteer opportunities, and our plans to celebrate our anniversary throughout the coming year.

Shop at Whole Foods on Lamar
Out Youth was chosen by the Whole Foods' TMAG team as their latest charity. When you shop at Whole Foods' Flasgship store on North Lamar between June 7th and July 4th, you will find donation boxes at the registers. The team is also volunteering at "Out at Midnight" on June 19.
