Out Youth’s Drop-In Center is a safe space and “home sweet home” for LGBTQIA youth like you! And, for our allies, we welcome you with open arms!

The Drop-In Center is actually an old two-story blue house with a big front porch. It makes for a very homey and comfortable space. We believe that anyone who visits Out Youth should feel at home, and you should consider yourself a part of the Out Youth family.

It is that feeling of warmth that makes the Drop-In Center so special. One youth said that she drove past the house several times before she got the courage to stop and come in, but once she arrived, it felt like coming home after being away for a very long time. Another youth would come over and sit on the porch, even when he knew we were not open, because he felt safe here.

But youth come to Out Youth for a variety of reasons beyond the chance to make friends and socialize. They might come after a recommendation from a counselor and jump at the chance to join a support group or perform at an open mic, while another youth might come to research a paper for a class and become a youth leader as they continue to get involved.

On its face, the Drop-In Center is where you can participate in programs and services, but we hope you’ll see it as a place where you can be yourself, make friends, and develop into happy, healthy, and successful young adult!

Drop-In Center Hours:

• Sundays – 4:30pm to 8:30pm (Ages 12-19)
• Wednesdays – 4:30pm to 8:30pm (Ages 12-19)
• Thursdays – 4:30pm to 8:30pm (Ages 18-23)
