Aubrey Wilkerson holds a degree in Human Development and Family Sciences with an emphasis on families and personal relationships from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Out Youth, Aubrey was Senior Development Officer at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, a division of the University of Texas at Austin.

Aubrey has been Executive Director of Out Youth since July 2012, though his involvement with the organization began as an intern, many years ago. Since then, he has served in several roles: intern, volunteer, board member, board chair, and now executive director.

As the Executive Director, Aubrey works closely with the board of directors, staff, volunteers, and youth in terms of guiding Out Youth into its next chapter. Aubrey is committed to a long-term vision for Out Youth. A vision based on building Out Youth’s financial, physical, and human resources, with a goal of a more stable Out Youth while expanding capacity responsibly over the years to come.
